Genuine vintage handmade Alaska Fur Doll made by the indigenous people of Nunivak Island in the Bering Sea.

These highly collectible Alaskan Eskimo wood dolls are hand carved and hand painted and covered in real animal fur (typically reindeer skin as well as other natural furs).

Measures  approx.  12" H.

Marked on the bottom.

In very good condition.  Wood paint finish has some very minor wear in a few spots.  As with all natural fur, some shedding is to be expected.  Please see pictures for more details.
