The Latch Body and Switch Assembly is an OEM part for Samsung microwaves. As a main door component, this assembly includes the switches that monitor door position and the latch body that holds them securely in place.

Causes of a bad latch body and switch assembly can include normal wear over years of opening and closing the microwave door multiple times per day. Damage from accidental impact is also possible.

Symptoms of a bad latch body and switch assembly include:
