Vintage German Style Musical Beer Stein Mug Plays How Dry I Am 3D Raised Relief 8.5"

Vintage German Styled Musical Ceramic Beer Stein .

Very colorful hand painted 3D raised relief design that on one side depicts a beer garden where a woman is serving a gentleman beer.  The other side is a German village landscape scene with castle and trees.  There is a bottom border of painted blue and red cherubs.

Music box plays the tune "How Dry I Am" which was composed by Irving Berlin in 1919 as part of "The Near Future" that debuted in The Ziegfeld Follies of 1919. It was ;later popularized by Artie Shaw in 1937.

Stein measures 8 1/2" H.

Unmarked but I assume it was made Japan.  Working Sankyo Music Box.

Stein is in very good vintage condition with minor expected finish wear in a few spots from age/use.  Music box plays great.  There is a brass stop on the bottom of the mug that works when pressed but does not engage to shut off the music when the mug is placed on a flat surface because it is slightly below the edge of the mug.  Please see pictures and video for more details.
