Genuine Yamaha Battery Cover Door Replacement Part for the HS-500 Handy Sound Mini Keyboard.

This is a battery cover door for an early 80's vintage Yamaha portable keyboard, the Yamaha HS-500 HandSound Portasound. It will fit perfectly over the battery compartment of this Yamaha model that accepts "AA" sized batteries. It MAY fit the other Handy Sound models like the HS-200 or HS-400, but please check with me before you buy this if you intend to use it on anything other than the HS-500, so we can figure out together if it will fit. 

It DOES NOT fit the vast majority of other Yamaha models that take AA batteries, as though it is very similar in size, it is a different shape. 

This part is in very good condition, not warped or cracked, and it has it's latches and tabs intact, and even the sponge inside is in great condition, which is unusual for a part this age.

This cover will complete your Yamaha HS500 instrument and keep your batteries inside, with no need for tape. So replace  your lost or broken cover with this one!
