The Office Dunder Mifflin Plastic Convention Plate Scranton Steamtown Mall 2007 Rare

Extremely rare, and perhaps one-of-a-kind prototype, 2007 The Office Dunder Mifflin Plastic Convention Picture Plate, Steamtown Mall, Scranton.

Features pictures of Kevin, Angela, Michael and Dwight.  The background pictures are from The Office Convention held in Scranton PA on October 26-28, 2007 at the Steamtown Mall.  I provide more information on the plate below.  The following information was found on the internet and was posted by the owner of the Dunder Mifflin Store in the Steamtown Mall.  However, I cannot verify the accuracy of this information.

Provenance/Description:

"The picture itself was taken at the Mall at Steamtown which is now the Marketplace at Steamtown. The picture was from the Convention in 2007. I was the owner/operator of The Dunder Mifflin Store in the Steamtown Mall and obtained this rare prototype plate from a local small business owner who wanted NBC to sell the plates. I presented it to NBC but they basically only dealt with mass producers from you guessed it China along with copyright issues. The project died and they were never produced. The owner gave me the plate as a momento (sp). We closed the store in 2012 and eventually the Steamtown Mall went into foreclosure."

Hard plastic plate measures 10" in diameter.
