Vintage Mixed Media Art Pen & Ink Drawing on Peepal Bodhi Leaves Thailand Rural Tribal Village Signed Rom H. Framed

Unique vintage mixed media art painting combining a striking pen and ink drawing on decoupage leaf art made of real dried Bodhi or Peepal leaves from the Bodhi Fig Tree (Bo Tree).

This stunning art piece is rendered in lovely shades of beige and brown to form the background leaf "paper" for the fine black pen and ink drawing depicting a rural village scene and two Hill Tribe people of Thailand (I believe, or another country in southeast Asia) dressed in native attire.  The central drawing is of a towering female figure smoking a pipe who is watching over a smaller male figure who is duck hunting with a raised crossbow in hand.  A couple of village huts on stilts completes the scene.

A very unique and interesting mixed media art piece!

This vintage piece is signed by the artist "Rom H" and I believe dates to the 1970s.

The art panel is mounted in a very nice brown wooden frame with gold inner trim.  There are two hooks on the back for attaching a wire for hanging.

Frame measures approx. 11" x 14".  Image size approx. 8" x 10".

In very good vintage condition with age/use expected light frame wear and a couple of small nicks in a couple of places.  Please see pictures for more details.
