The Refrigerator Hook-Auto Closer is an OEM part for Frigidaire French door refrigerators. Located on the top inside edges of the refrigerator doors, the hook-auto closer attaches the closing mechanism arms to allow automatic opening and closing functions. 

Symptoms of a bad hook-auto closer include: 

• Doors detached from closing mechanism  
• Linkages slipping out of place 
• Loose or unstable door movement
• Grinding noises when doors open or close

Causes of a bad hook-auto closer can be damage or deformation from excessive impact, broken weld points, or normal wear over time.
