2 X Carnation Footcare Corn Caps 5's Medicated Plasters
Carnation Corn Caps are medicated plasters that are clinically proven to remove corns within a 10 day treatment period.
Corns are the most common of all foot problems and come in various forms. The most common are hard corns and soft corns. These small circles of thick skin tend to form on the tops and sides of toes or on the sole of the foot. Corns are often caused by wearing poorly fitted footwear which place excessive pressure on an area of the foot. Carnation Corn Caps self-adhesive straps make them easy to apply and hold firmly in place over the corn. Each cap contains a measured dose of Salicylic Acid paste (keratolytic) which loosens the intracellular cement holding hardened skin together, allowing it to flake away. A ten day treatment course of Carnation Corn Caps is usually fully effective.
Usage:
A medicated dressing is placed over the corn and left in place for 2 days then removed. The area is cleaned and dried and a fresh corn cap is applied every 2 days. After the sixth day the corn is removed and any loose skin is scraped away. If the corn is not easily removed further corn caps can be applied changing every 2 days up to a maximum of 5 corn caps.
