Your bid is for one kiln dried Ipe platter blank.  Blanks measure approximately 8" X 8" X 2".  Will make very nice platters or bowls.  A great value for the wood shop.  Kiln dried and ready to finish turn.  FREE delivery to your door!  FREE delivery to your door!

Common Name(s): Ipe, Brazilian Walnut, Lapacho

Scientific Name: Handroanthus spp. (formerly placed in the Tabebuia genus)

Distribution: Tropical Americas (Central and South America); also farmed commercially

Tree Size: 100-130 ft (30-40 m) tall, 2-4 ft (.6-1.2 m) trunk diameter

Average Dried Weight: 69 lbs/ft3 (1,100 kg/m3)

Specific Gravity (Basic, 12% MC): .91, 1.10

Janka Hardness: 3,510 lbf (15,620 N)

If you have custom lumber you need send us an e-mail.  We deal mainly in oak, maple, cherry, walnut, sycamore, sassafras, hickory, and poplar.  Surface checking from kiln drying is common but should not affect the final product.  Photo may vary from actual item.

Shipping: Seller will pack and ship this item for the quoted shipping amount.

Payment:
  • Full payment is due within five (5) business days of notice of award. Winning bidder will receive email with payment instructions.
  • We can only ship to the confirmed address on file with Paypal if paying by Paypal.

  • IN State Tax is collected if buyer resides in the state of Indiana.

    • Important Information

    		Pre-sale Inspection: Items are usually available for inspection weekdays (excluding holidays) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment only.  For refund or exchange item must be returned at buyers expense.  There are no exceptions.  We will refund the entire payment amount including original amount paid for shipping OR pay to return replacements to you.


    		Local Pickup:
  • Pickup must occur, by appointment, within 10 business days of receipt of property release. Buyer will be responsible for bid amount plus Indiana sales tax of 7% plus $5.00 handling. If picking up items directly from our warehouse DO NOT send Paypal payment.  If you do not agree with these terms of pickup please do not bid.

    		Pickup Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday (weekends by appointment).

    		Directions: Unless otherwise stated items are located at the Brazil, Indiana warehouse in Brazil, Indiana. Information on how to reach the warehouse will be provided to winning bidders.

    		Default: All property not picked up within 10 days reverts to Green Valley Wood Products, LLC, with no financial compensation made to buyer. No refunds will be given for items paid for and not picked up within this time frame! Please pick up your items promptly!
