Old New Haven Clock Movement Center Pallet Nut. Note this nut is in the center of the pallet and is smaller than the other pallet nuts, see last pic.
The unit has stamped "New Haven", has a star in in a circle in the center and "Trademark" on the bottom of the circle. This is stamped on the right side of the front pallet. The unit measures 1 3/8 inches between pallets. There is also a number "12" stamped in the center of the front pallet that has been X'd out along with a small letter "B"?
