Pre-viewed for quality and there was a little crackling on the soundtrack at the begining, but I believe this to be in the film element itself. There was however a couple of quick rolling lines at 49 minutes, otherwise it played fine on my Sony vcr deck.
Box and cassette look nearly new with a faint sticker shadow on the top left corner of cover. Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and no longer being manufactured.
Social worker Ann Gentry goes out of her way to take the case of the Wadsworth family and their thirty-year-old son, known only as BABY. Baby's adult body houses the mind of an infant--but Ann is determined to discover whether Baby is actually mentally retarded, or if he's being deliberately kept in this infantile state by his vindictive mother and her daughters Germaine and Alba.
Ann's suspicions are well-founded:
No two Wadsworth children have the same father, attempts to provide Baby with special education are firmly rebuffed, and the last worker to show an interest in his case has mysteriously vanished.
But Ann, already guilt-wracked over a debilitating accident involving her husband (whose mother she lives with), shows signs of a disturbing obsession of her own; indeed, her other cases mean almost nothing to her. Nevertheless, Ann becomes enough of a threat to Mrs. Wadsworth's control of Baby that fatal plans are soon set in motion.
