Robust and straightforward to cultivate. The stalks are more substantial, more durable, taller, and simpler to handle than those of the annual gypsophila, a flower that bears similarities otherwise. Floating over grayish-blue, wax-like leaves are dusty pink flowers that measure between 3/4 to 1". The plant grows in a branching pattern. Alternatively referred to as soapwort or cow soapwort.
