Beautiful mid century Westinghouse clear glass refrigerator dish with lid! This treasure features dome lid design giving it an atomic flair with a "W" in a circle (for Westinghouse)
in the handle and textured glass in the center of the lid. The bottom
has also has W in a circle with a ribbed textured bottom. These stylish dishes tempted mid century housewives to buy a modern fridge (vs the plain ice box) and sets were often included with purchase as an enticement! Weighted glass dish goes from fridge to the oven to the table with a one dish cleanup! Perfect size for breads, casseroles,
desserts, leftover or other tasty treats. Truly a 1930's-1950's era treasure for any retro inspired kitchen, camper or new addition to any Westinghouse collection!
Refrigerator dish is in excellent condition! No cracks or repairs! The usual light surface wear here and there and a rough edge rim or two from years of Madge storing this beauties in the pantry,
but nothing that distracts! See enlarged pics for best description and details.
