This is "tafseer" of the whole Quran in English. The speaker is Dr. Israr Ahmed, the founder of Tanzeem-e-Islami. He graduated from King Edward Medical College (Lahore) in 1954 and later received his masters in Islamic Studies from the University of Karachi in 1965. He came under the influence of Allama Iqbal and Maulana Maududi as a young student. Dr. Israr Ahmad is a well-known figure in Pakistan, the Middle East and North America for his efforts in drawing the attention of Muslims in general and their educated classes in particular towards the teachings and wisdom of the Holy Quran. Dr. Israr Ahmad firmly believes in the methodology of "reflection-through-action" which he thinks is amply supported by a verse in the Holy Quran: "As for those who strive in Us, We surely guide them to Our Paths" (Al Ankabut 29:6)
