I bought this necklace in the early 1980’s at the gift shop of the Camino Real Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  I was returning from the beach and I saw this necklace displayed in the window of the gift shop.  I had to have it!  It was made by Dona Eva Martinez aka Dona de Mexico.
Her necklaces usually have a hang tag that says Dona Mexico.  That tag is no longer on this necklace, but it is most definitely one of her creations.
The necklace is 13 3/4 “ long. The longest drop is 7 1/4”.
The next to last photo is a side by side showing a disconnect between two links.  I show a safety pin holding the two together.  In the other photo I show the disconnect.  A jeweler could re solder this or one could just connect the two with a jump ring.  This is on the side of the neck so it would not be noticeable.
This necklace would be perfect to wear to the upcoming Olympics.  All those rings!

I welcome all questions and requests for more photos.
