Talk about a statement piece!  Layer this over anything and suddenly you are the center of attention.  This is a heavy, thick cotton, floor length cape.  It is gorgeously embellished with cotton crochet lace gracing the shoulders, defining each side as it travels down the front, continuing along the bottom, then reaching a pointed crescendo in the back.  The upper part of the back is also lavishly adorned with lace. 

The cape is 56 3/4” long, measured from the top of the shoulder.

The color is a warm white.  It appears warmer in different light conditions. 

Photo #8 shows two small spots.  Photo # 10 shows some discoloration on the collar.

Photo #11 show some light stains on the back.  I didn’t notice these until after I had listed this piece.

The beauty of the cape eclipses these imperfections.
