The book is amazing in its exhaustive study of facts of characters in pictures and of the results on American life and morals and religion. It is an awesome book. First, the reader may find himself interested, then shocked as incident  'is piled upon fact and incident.' One becomes thoroughly convinced that here is an authentic picture of the rottenness of Hollywood movies. Then a sense of disgust may be followed by a growing concern.
