Attention collectors, show exhibitors!  For your consideration, this is a beautiful pre owned Sliester Competitor Series 6 inch Stainless Steel Shank bit with a No. 20 sweet iron chain mouthpiece.  The close up photos of the inside of the shanks shows the maker's mark "SLIESTER" on the inside right cheek.   This is a great bit for use by reiners and other working type horses.

The Competitor Series bits feature specially designed mouthpieces that conceal the connection to the shank giving a clean look and smooth action.  Originated in the early 1980's, these bits are still very popular today.  This bit has a 6 inch long cheeck with a 2-1/2 inch purchase for a 2.4 leverage ratio.  The mouthpiece measures 5-1/4 inches wide and the bit weighs 14 ounces.
