The Whirlpool drum mounting hub is an OEM replacement part responsible for securing the dryer drum to the rear bulkhead of the appliance. Located at the back of the dryer, this part serves as a connection point between the drum and the motor assembly, ensuring that the drum rotates smoothly during the drying cycle. 

The Whirlpool drum mounting hub can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.

Includes: drive block, drive hub, tub nut, hardware and instruction sheet.

This part fixes the following symptoms:

• Excessive noise during operation, such as squeaking or grinding sounds.
