Four strips of photograph black and white and color, keynote this 35mm issue and demonstrate the inventiveness of R. Cummings Vance of New York City. He shot model Shawne at Gilgo Beach, N. Y. and the grays and in the scene are subtly rendered n\in the color shots. Vance used Kodachrome with a Leica M-3. His 3' Summicron 1/2 lens was set at f5.6 shutter speed was 1/50. Black and white was shot on Plus-X at I/500. f5.6.
