This exquisite Japanese porcelain coffee set from the Meiji period is a rare find for collectors of Asian antiques. The set, made by renowned maker Kozan, features a beautiful bamboo motif, dating back to the years between 1868 and 1972, adds to its unique charm and value. The set includes a coffee pot, creamer, and sugar bowl ready for display or use. The intricate details and craftsmanship of this antique Kozan coffee set are a testament to the rich history and artistry of Japanese porcelain and pottery. The pot measures 8" tall to the tip of the finial (6 1/8" without the lid) and 8" wide from handle to spout; it is in pretty good antique/used condition with a couple of nicks on the inside rim (ground) of the lid and some remnants of paint from the hand painted process. The sugar bow measures 5" tall to the top of the lid (3 3/4" without the lid), 5" wide from handle to handle, and it is in good antique/used condition with a couple of nicks on the inside rim (ground) of the lid. The creamer is 4 3/4" tall to the tip of the finial (3 3/4" without the lid); 4 7/8" wide from handle to spout; and the inside and the ground of the lid is damaged with cracks and chips (see last set of photos).
