NYDA is used to physically treat head lice infestations (lice capitis). When used as directed, NYDA is also effective against nymphs (newly hatched lice) and eggs (nits).
Mechanism of action: NYDA does not contain harmful insecticides. The solution is absorbed deep into the respiratory system of lice, nymphs and eggs (nits), causing them to suffocate. Because this mechanism of action is physical, development of resistance to lice is not possible.
Compound
92% dimethicone, medium chain triglycerides, jojoba wax, fragrance.
Usage
1. Spray the NYDA solution onto dry hair, working it all the way through. Spray NYDA thoroughly onto dry hair over the entire length, starting with the part of hair closest to the scalp. The amount of NYDA required depends on the thickness and length of the hair. Make sure the section of hair closest to the scalp and behind the ears is completely covered with NYDA as this is where lice and nits are most likely to appear. Treat long, thick hair by dividing it into thinner sections.
2. Apply NYDA to your hair with massaging movements and leave for 1 hour. Rub the solution thoroughly into your hair until it is completely damp. This ensures that all lice, nymphs and eggs (nits) come into contact with the solution and the effect is optimal. Therefore, you should leave NYDA® on your hair for 1 hour. Immediately after the first use of the NYDA drug, there is no longer a risk of infecting other people, observing the duration of use.
3. After 1 hour, comb your hair thoroughly with a lice comb. After the NYDA has been in use for at least 1 hour, you can gently comb out the suffocated lice from your hair using a lice comb. Therefore, hold the comb so that the side with the text is facing your head. Divide your hair into several sections and each section into several thin strands. Comb each strand separately, starting as close to the scalp as possible, i.e. i.e. combing hair from roots to ends. Secure each comb and clean the comb with a tissue before continuing. Important: hold the comb with the side with the text facing your head. NYDA makes combing easier because it contains special ingredients that make combing even long hair easier.
4. Wash your hair with regular shampoo. After combing, NYDA can be washed with regular shampoo. The remaining solution left after the first wash can be easily washed off during the second wash.
5. Treatment control. The hair should always be re-examined after 8-10 days. If necessary, treatment should be repeated as described above. Treatment with NYDA is safe and can be repeated if necessary.
