Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Double LP. Gate-fold die-cut cover looks great; light scuffing, a few creases and surface impressions (front/back/inner-gate); some surface abrasion near front bottom left and small tear on inner-gate near bottom left. Inner sleeves are original (generic white). Spine, which is on right side, is mostly easy to read with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge, more noticeable wear along bottom edge and corners. Inside gate-fold opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Notch in bottom-left.)
A Motown Christmas is a Christmas music compilation album, originally released as a 2-LP set. It contains various seasonal singles and album tracks recorded by some of the label's artists from the 1960s and early 1970s. A reviewer on allmusic.com says of the album, "{it is} infused with the same beautifully soulful vibe which defined the Sound of Young America at its best although the set leans primarily on seasonal chestnuts like Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer, I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, and Silver Bells."
