This item was purchased in the early seventies and has had little to no use. The bowl was hand-crafted in Hawaii for sale. It is made from Acacia 'Monkey Pod' wood. It has the appearance of a pumpkin when viewed from the side. The wood has been lightly treated with non-toxic Mineral Oil to preserve the wood. This item would make a great gift or addition to any Monkey Pod enthusiasts collection or even as a Halloween candy dish! The dimensions of the item are 10" in diameter by 5" deep.
