This is a hand braided damaged pre owned 5/8 inch diameter 16 strand flexible rawhide core show quality bosal hackamore with a 1 inch diameter rawhide nose button.  The hackamore has a section of missing rawhide on the right side approximately 1-1/2 inches long.  The missing section could be wrapped with sealtex or vet wrap and should be not visible when a mecate is tied on the bosal.  This damage would give the buyer a chance to purchase a really good usable quality bosal for a fraction of its value without the damage.  The rawhide core is not affected.  This is a beautiful well balanced and already perfectly shaped hackamore, weighing 14.60 ounces.  It measures 11-1/2 inches from the inside of the nose button to the inside of the heel knot.  The pineapple heel knot measures 2 inches by 2-1/2 inches at the widest part.  This bosal will make a great addition to your vintage show tack collection and will look great in any show ring setting.  This is not a cheap import from India or China, but a great hand braided using and show hackamore that you will be proud to add to your collection!
