This vintage postcard features the Masonic Western Star Lodge in Shasta, CA, which was established in the 1848. The photo was captured in the 1940s and printed onto postcards making the lodge almost 100 years old at the time. We’re well passed that now and heading into it’s 200 year mark. Pay close attention to the furnishings inside and wonder to yourself about the mysterious practices that may or may not have taken place here. After all, aren’t the free masons sworn to secrecy?
So here we our with our peak in Western Star Lodge No.2 which is the most insight some of us will ever have into this societies club holdings.
Take home this photo and create your own stories of it’s lure and charm….
I’d tell you mine, but how can I know you’ll swear to it’s secrecy?
