The Edwards APG-M-NW16 is an active pirani gauge. 
It's a Pirani vacuum gauge and gauge controller in a single compact unit. 
The gauge has a vacuum attachment portion called NW16.   
A Pirani gauge is a type of vacuum gauge that measures pressure by measuring 
the thermal conductivity of the gas in the vacuum chamber. Active Pirani gauges 
use a heated filament to measure thermal conductivity.
