Carsil is a medicine containing the active ingredient silymarin, which is obtained from marjoram seeds.
Carsil is used in the following cases:
auxiliary therapy of toxic liver damage;
additional therapy for liver steatosis (alcoholic and non-alcoholic);
additional therapy for chronic inflammatory liver diseases;
complex treatment of liver cirrhosis;
prevention of liver damage due to long-term use of drugs or alcohol, or chronic intoxication (including occupational).

Compound
The active ingredient is silymarin. Each film-coated tablet contains 40.9–56.3 mg of dry marjoram extract, which corresponds to 22.5 mg of silymarin in terms of silibinin.
Usage
Always take this medication as directed by this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid. The tablet cannot be divided. Recommended dose: Adults and children over 12 years of age. In more severe cases, the initial dose is 4 tablets 3 times a day before meals. In less severe cases, the maintenance dose is 2 tablets 2-3 times a day. The dose for the prevention of liver damage is 2 - 3 tablets per day.
