This serene 1890s watercolor and pencil image is called, Venice from the Tower of San Georgio by English born landscape artist, Thomas Moran. 

Moran travelled to Venice in the 1860s and painted several beautiful landscapes of the city.  He was also the first artist to capture the vastness of the Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone National Park, after joining the Hayden Geological Survey Expedition in 1871.
