Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photos/lyrics/credits). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. Columbia House pressing. (Not a cut-out.)
Bad Animals was another major hit scoring similar success to their previous record Heart. RIAA certification for this album is five times platinum. The album reached No. 2 on the Billboard album chart and contained the number one hit single Alone, while Who Will You Run To reached No. 7, and There's the Girl reached No. 12. The album found the band in fine form, continuing the mainstream hard rock style from their previous album while adding more depth and emotion to the overall performance. In addition to the hit singles, two other tracks were notable: Wait for an Answer highlighted Ann Wilson's opera-meets-metal vocal delivery, and the title track featured intertwining passages of Black Sabbath-style darkness with Pink Floyd-esque brightness.
