What is Giclee?
A modern printmaking process in which individual prints are produced on a special large-format printer in extremely high resolution, to give as exact as possible a reproduction of the precise colors and strokes of the original work. The giclee process offers the highest-quality reproduction available. Giclees may be printed on paper or on canvas. They are rarely produced in editions larger than a few hundred, with each one printed individually.

Jennine Parker has always used her art as a means of expression. Utilizing her passions and talents, she creates images of movement, shape, and texture. Usually creating sculptures with oil-based modeling clay, Parker uses unconventional methods to create her masterpieces, even using debris like bricks and leaves to make an interesting impression on the clay – and on the viewers. Parker’s inspiration comes from various forms of natural beauty, from the contrast of the smooth, eroded sides of a rock and the jagged edge of cliff, to the curves and shapes of the female form. “Interesting shapes and lines,” she explains “are naturally created from every angle; feeling the need to hold or touch the sculpture is my deliberate intention.
