Reader's Review - That Dollar in Your Pocket
1950s

This periodical was issued monthly.  I cannot tell the date of publication, but most of the sources seem to be from 1952 and 1953.  It seems like maybe it was similar to a Reader's Digest of the time.  It has several articles, political cartoons, breakdown of a days income (taxes, food, housing...), references to communism....  It certainly gives a glimpse into the views of the times.

The featured articles are:
That Dollar in Your Pocket
Six Basic Types of Men
What Would Our Founding Fathers Say?
Taxes: 2 hours 40 minutes a Day
Hobbies are Good Emotional Outlets
Are You Guilty?
The President Shouldn't Know Too Much
Curiosity Quiz
Who Profits from Profits
How Well Do You Know Human Nature?

In addition there are short factoids and jokes sprinkled throughout.

This pamphlet style booklet is in good condition.  The front cover has a small piece missing at the bottom right corner, and the back cover is discolored and has a price written on it.  A page or two inside are slightly dog-eared.  Otherwise it is in excellent shape.
