Antique Hand Painted Limbach (?) c.1882-1900s Dessert Set MINT GREEN WHITE GOLD CHERRY BLOSSOMS 21 pcs ~ Elegant, gorgeous set
Provenance is from estate sale & the item belonged to my mother
It was stored in a china cabinet in a no smoking/no pet home.
Very old hand painted dessert set with rare square petit fours tray, milk pitcher, large berry (bute) bowl, 6 teacups with saucers, & 6 dessert plates.
Each piece is either numbered 2700 etched, and/or 3224 in green 2' in green marked or with cursive "L" in green. All pieces have a petal detail, scalloping & each cup is painted inside with a blossom. We believe these to be circa 1882.
These pieces are undamaged, no crazing, cracks, chips or repairs and in excellent vintage condition with very light wear consistent with age, service, and storage. Milk pitcher = 3" width at opening (plus 1" for handle); height = 5"
Bowl = 5 1/2" diameter x 3 1/2" height
Saucer plate = 5 1/2" diameter
Dessert Plate = 7" diameter
Dessert Tray = 9" x 9"
Cups = 3" width at opening (plus 3/4" for handles) x 2 7/8" height
Shipping:
This lot is 21 pieces of porcelain and as such will be wrapped well and boxed carefully with adequate packing materials.
The total weight pre-packed is nearly 8 pounds & will be more weight once placed in the shipping box. Please understand that we don't want anything to happen in transit and so we must charge accordingly for the shipping and only what it costs us plus our supplies, time and labor.
We can ship this lot insured with tracking via USPS Ground Advantage or your choice, see options. Buyer may also choose air freight shipping as well and we can estimate cost.
