RARE Set of 2 VASA? VINTAGE Minimalist LAMINATED

Acrylic Sculptures 1960’s EUC

Two mini rainbow acrylic laminated sculptures. Though not signed, these small minimalist sculptural gems extrude the Acrylic mastery of Vasa Mihich (B.1933) from the 1960’s. They appear to be laminated acrylic with numerous colorful bands which create a kaleidoscope of color depending on their orientation.

The larger one is a rectangular block with a burnt orange back and a spectrum of bright orange and yellow and red layers from top to bottom. A striking mini sculpture. The colors dance when rotated and at different angles they change like louvers . A fascinating piece.

The surface is excellent with only one minor nick to one corner. Optics are excellent. Only faint surface wear.  No crazing. Even laid on their side present a different color palette.  Pics demonstrate but a few perspectives.

The second smaller laminated piece is prismatic in shape. It exhibits the same pattern of colors. They can be displayed individually or stacked in various configurations.

Obviously from the same period and style and artist.  Though unsigned has the VASA OR EDELMAN motifs. To any period collector of mid century mod acrylics, this is obvious.  VASA pieces adorn the show cases of many museums world wide. Great for you!!!!  YOU Won’t be disappointed.
