This is a great pair of cute vintage child's wood toy rolling pins just like Mom's from the 1950s. They both have red wooden handles. These were meant to be used for role play with children back when mothers were busy making pies and rolling out the dough, but they would be handy today in scrap-booking for rolling items flat. They could also be used for rolling out Play Doh or as a decorative display in your kitchen. Because they are vintage, I would not recommend using them for actual food use, I would be concerned about the paint. They measure approximately 7 ½ inches in length.
I'm not sure of the type of wood, each one has a different grain. They could be made of oak, maple or sycamore (please look at the close up of the grain in the photos and determine for yourself). The wood is good quality. On the longer one the handles move back and forth through the rolling pin slightly which allows an easy rolling movement. The other one the handles fit tightly and it is a little harder to roll. One of the rolling pins has a flat top on the handles, the other is rounded.
They are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There is no paint loss on the handles, and no chips or nicks in the wood.
