G.I. Kvinitadze, General. My memories of Georgia's independence years, 1917-1921. /Kvinitadze G.I., general. Moi vospominaniya v gody nezavisimosti Gruzii, 19171921. Paris. YMCA-PRESS. 1985. 4, 471, 5) p., portrait and 4 on. First edition. With photo illustrations on stickers. Memories of the Georgian military commander, Major General Georgy Kvinitadze, who led the Georgian armed forces during the four defensive wars waged by the reborn Georgian state during a brief period of independence in the early twentieth century. The book was highly praised by Georgian emigration. Suffice it to say that, before the publication of Kvinitadze's book on the processes that led to the tragedy of February 25, 1921, there was the only source of General Georgy Mazniashvili's memoirs, which went through the scissors of censorship. Kvinitadze was in the thick of all events and so vividly described the period of time that the reader became a witness to the tragic contradictions of independent Georgia We have thousands of titles and often several copies of each title may be available.
