Beautiful carving by Luman Kelsey. Kelsey was known as one of the foremost ceramics artists in Connecticut. He was on the Board of Directors of the Gallery of the Canton Artists Guild, Inc. when it opened in August 1960. Kelsey’s date of death is unknown, though it may have been between August 1960 and October 1961.

This mid-century carving measures approx 6 1/2" tall. It is in pre-owned condition. It has some wear and scuffing marks on the ear tips and edges of the base.  Pad be sure to review the pictures provided for condition details.
