Hawthorn tincture is a herbal preparation. It produces symptomatic relief from cardiac problems such as increased heart rate and/or high blood pressure. It is used for heart failure of functional class I-II (according to the New York Heart Association classification). The active substances present in hawthorn tincture have a strengthening effect on the heart, dilate blood vessels and reduce blood pressure.

Usage
The drug is for internal use. . For adults and elderly people, the recommended single dose is 20–30 drops, taken 2–3 times a day; in case of palpitations it can be used occasionally, in case of heart failure - for a long time (continuously). Maximum daily dose: 4 single doses.
