These books (and they are as much books as magazines) bring forth the tidbits and obscure happenings, that have happened over the years. The books are all distributed by the University of Nebraska.
Hint: Having written and self published a book about old time baseball (Glimpses of Glory 978-1-4771-4350-6 9000/ listed elsewhere ) I am especially fond of the footnotes of "the game". These SABR Journals are chocked full of them. Look at the BACK cover of the man who looks like he is doing a handstand of a baseball bat). In the background, almost lost in the blue, are two baseball players sitting in a dugout. Those two men were actors who starred in a movie called The Winning Team. One of those actors became President of The United States. Oh, by the the way, the guy with the bat is Danny Gardella who played for the New York Giants who stunned baseball by signing to play five years pro ball in Mexico instead of being hamstrung by the dreaded Reserve Clause still in use in 1947.
