Mitchiner & Yih did not suggest a written year on the coin itself. Robinson (2015) read the legend as 'alamat bilad Palembang علامت بلد ڤلمبڠ. Robinson mentioned that some sources say the coin dates from AH 1163 AH (= AD 1750), but does not mentioned which source or how the year was deduced.
