These are "plant and forget" plants with a fabulous flower display.  Flowers appear on long, branched stalks throughout  the year, but bloom heavier in spring through fall.  The flowers occur in cycles, generally at two-week intervals. Gorgeous planted in masses. The soil should be moist but well-drained.  Full  sun to partial shade is preferred with a  bit of shade in the hottest part of the day.  Will grow 24-40 inches tall. Do perennials in zones 9-12 need to be lifted and over-wintered indoors in other zones.

• Can be  started indoors in winter to be transplanted outdoors or can be sown directly into the ground in spring or early summer.
