10 Lipstick Plant Annatto Seeds Houseplant Perennial Grown As Tree Flowering

Easy to grow from seed! Can be grown as a tree outdoors in zones 9 and higher or can be grown indoors as a beautiful and unusual house plant.  Grown outdoors it can reach a height of 25 feet. Indoors you can let it grow as tall or as short as you want by trimming. The seeds are commonly used as a spice in cooking. The pulp surrounding the seeds have been used for treating burns, bleeding, dysentery, constipation and fever.  Seed germination is irratic commonly takes 11-30 days to sprout but in rare instances it has taken as long as 110 days.
