Beautiful vintage 1950's Red Wing Pottery USA "Capistrano" pattern 6pc saucer set! The Capistrano pattern was introduced in 1953 and was out of production by 1962. The stylish modern pattern boosts fruits and leaves is a mid century classic complete with yellow, grey, green, rust, burgundy, brown and blue green color palate! These beauties are hand painted with a raised texture design and ready to add glam to your retro kitchen! Plates are weighted and quite substantial (almost 2lbs combined) with a glossy high glaze for durability. Will mix and match so well with any other period design styles or colors to enhance your dining experience!

Red Wing pottery refers to American stoneware, pottery, or dinnerware items made by a company initially set up in Red Wing, Minnesota, in 1861 by German immigrant John Paul, which changed its names several times until finally settling on Red Wing Potteries, Inc. in 1936.

Saucers are in excellent condition! No chips, dings or repairs! Perhaps tiny pre-loved surface wear here and there from years of adding flair to Ethel's koffee klatch with the girls, but nothing that truly distracts from these fabulous Red Wing treasures!
