GARLAND DAISY seeds. The Garland Daisy is a leafy herb native to the Mediterranean. This annual plant will do best if planted in full sun or partial shade, in moist, well-drained soil. The Garland Daisy (Chrysanthemum coronarium) is one of the few annual plants in its genus that has small yellow flowers grouped in small flower heads and is aromatic. The leaves look like parsley leaves. The vegetable grows very well in mild or slightly cooler climates. In warmer conditions the Garland Daisy grows fast and will start flowering in a month or so. Used in Cantonese cuisine, the young leaves and stems of the Garland Daisy are often used in soups and stir-fry. Seeds are sown in early spring and fall. This plant is rich in minerals and vitamins, especially potassium and carotene. Easily grown from seed. If a few plants are left to live out their natural life cycle, they will reseed themselves and will come back in early spring. Also does well in a patio container. 300+seeds per order. Thank You!
