What will I receive?:

24pcs x BLACK FROSTED Diffused Round Style LEDs 5mm IR infrared 850nm.

24pcs x Resistor Pack for 8-12 Volts Power Supply.
(Note: LED resistor pack included will be 1/4 Watt or 1/6 Watt depending on inventory at hand, thank you)

Please notice that the resistor pack can also be used for 5V Power Supply/Battery Voltages, but the light intensity of the LEDs will be dimmed (not that bright).  We suggest using the resistor pack with voltages between 8-12V to get a good LED brightness.


IR FROSTED Black Diffused Round Style LEDs:

This IR Light Emitting Diodes come in Black Style diffused material as shown in images.  These LEDs are great for any General Purpose electronic projects.  The electrical characteristics of these IR LEDs are as follows:

Test Conditions:  15 - 20 mA.
Forward Voltage:  1.4 - 1.5 Volts *.
Forward Current:  15 mA *.
Reverse Current:  10 uA.

LED dimension type:  5mm Round.
LED Wavelength:  850nm.

* Note that the maximum forward voltage for this IR LED type is 1.5V volts; however the typical-voltage applied should be kept at about 1.4V Volts (the resistor pack included already takes care of this).

* The typical forward current of operation of this LED type is 15 mA; however the LED will work well at 10 mA.  Now, the maximum operational current is 20 mA and it must not be exceeded, otherwise the LED will degrade faster and subsequently burn-out.
