Sweet vintage1970's Corelle • Corning Ware 3pc Old Towne (also known as Blue Onion) 8.5" luncheon or salad plate set! Navy blue flower, leaf, and scroll line motif under a thin, navy blue double stripe. Hard to find this many plates still together and here is the chance to add to your collection! The pattern is also referred to as "Old Towne" or "Blue Onion."  The pattern was designed created by artist Cynthia Gerow, inspired by the centuries-old blue onion pattern associated with Meissen of Germany. Plate set is the perfect addition to any modern kitchen!

* We also have other matching pieces in this pattern & more Corelle/Corning, so check out our other listings! Always happy to combine orders if you would love them all for even more fun!

Plate set is in excellent condition! No chips or dings to glass! The usual pre-loved surface light utensil & scuff marks wear + spot ware (mostly on backsides • see pics) here and there from years of helping Midge get through her Sunday suppers, but nothing that distracts from these treasures of kitchen ware history!  Please see enlarged pics for best description and details.
