OBEDIENT PLANT seeds. AKA False Dragonhead. (Physostegia Virginiana Pink). This American native wildflower is originally from the eastern side of the country, but now lives throughout the west. Very easy to grow from seed and they have a long-life span. They should be divided every 2 or 3 years, these flower spikes can get 36"+ and make a great cut flower. Obedient Plant is compact, erect, clump-forming that typically grows 24-36" tall. Has stiff, square stems and produces dense spikes of rich pink, snapdragon-like flowers which bloom mid-summer through fall. The individual snapdragon-like flowers can be pushed up, down, or to the side and they'll stay in that position, hence the name "Obedient Plant". Deer & Rabbit resistant. 75+seeds per order.

Some American Native Wildflower seeds need to go through a cold winter to germinate. This plant is one of them. They do this so the seed won’t sprout in fall, only to have the seedling not make it through a cold winter. I have stratified these seeds to simulate a cold winter(stratification) This raises the germination rate considerably. Thanks for looking!!
