Rosemary is one of the oldest medicinal plants known to us. His name means "sea dew" in Latin. In Ancient Greece, this sturdy shrub was considered a medicinal plant with a curative effect. It was used for fumigation during ritual rituals. The ancient Romans and Egyptians believed that rosemary symbolizes love and death. In the XVII century, a wave of popularity of an unusual remedy called "water of the Queen of Hungary" swept Europe. Rosemary oil was first obtained in the 14th century by the alchemist Ramon Lull by steam distillation from leaves and flowers. Since then, the study of its healing properties has not stopped.
