For your consideration is as free standing antique/vintage photo picture frame.  These look to be a maple wood, but may have just a maple stain.  These came from an sale that had antiques from the United Kingdom.  There are 4 different sizes to choose from.  There are 2 pieces of glass that slip into the slots of the wood so you do not have the side and top frame look.  Very unique.  The original glass was broken, so I have had new pieces of glass cut for these. The 12" one still has some of the sticker on the wood.  It can be removed by soaking the sticker and rubbing off.
