* A Tracker is a unique blade profile developed specifically for bushcraft by survival expert and author Tom Brown Jr. The goal was versatility with nothing extraneous. He was inspired to create a do-it-all survival knife in the early 1980s, and the Tracker later gained popularity when it was featured in the movie 'The Hunted'.
The wide curved belly acts as a small hatchet for everything from processing firewood to building shelter, as well as larger slicing tasks. The straight part of the blade near the guard is intended for carving and push-cutting. It can also be thrown effectively - see the video 'Throwing the Tom Brown Tracker Knife - "Hunted" Style'.
